About the Artist/Creator:

The creator of Jackket Knightmare has spent the past four years teaching herself how to draw. During this time she became interested in Christian comics due mainly to the website christiancomics.net. In 2003 she started her first work which never made it past the writing phase then became interested in Japanese style drawing and published her first manga/comic on the web called Dark World in 2004. In 2005 she began work on the idea of Jackket Knightmare but did not decided until early in 2006 to concentrate completely on finishing the comic series. She is currently working on Issue 3 while working part-time.

About Jackket Knightmare:

It begins with Tomàs J. Caballero, who was physically abused by his father as a child until the age of eight when he was taken in by Rev. David H. Church. Now years later an adult Tomàs must deal with the sudden loss of his adopted father, while trying to convince a skeptical Church committee to allow him to take the reigns as pastor over his adopted father's church.

Meanwhile, a dark angel calling himself Jackket Knightmare begins to appear protecting the children who can't protect themselves. Though his true identity and origin are unknown his ties with Tomàs, may destroy everything Tom has worked so hard for...

Jackket Knightmare deals the very real issue of child abuse. The point of the comic is to make people aware of this issue and to offer hope for those who are survivors of abuse. Thsi comci is about healing through faith in Christ and the journey to forgive and let go of the pain and people who caused that pain in the past. The Bible tells us in Psalms 147: that God "He binds our wounds and heals the broken-hearted." so much that He gave his Son Jesus so that we could be saved from our sins and made whole again. If you have been hut in the past due to other people and your own failures and are ready for a new start you can pray this prayer with me.

God I know that I have sinned against you and because of that have been cut off from you, today I want to have that relationship with you. I believe that Jesus is your Son and gave his life on the cross for my sins, my sickness, and brokenness with his blood, and I ask that you forgive me of my sins and come into my life today. I receive Jesus today as the true Messiah and as Lord and Savior of my life and I believe that I am now your child God, please fill me now with your Holy Spirit! I thank you Father God for your goodness!
